TTUM:

Thank you so much for this interview. Please, introduce yourself and all the Admonish guys.

ADMONISH:

Its a pleasure for me, so thank you too!
Admonish are a five man strong band. Its me Jonas who handle the bass, Robin on drums. Emanuel on guitar and
background vocals, my twinbrother Emil on the other guitar. On the cold nordic screaming we have Martin.

TTUM:

How Admonish was it created?

ADMONISH:

I became a member in the middle of 2003 so i wasnt there when it all happens.
The history goes back to 1994 when Emanuel start to jam with his friend Marcus.
It was the same year as Mayhem released their legendary album "de mysteerios doom satanas" and Emperor their first
fullenght, "the nightside eclipse". Just to get a picture about the scene around. 
After one year (1995) a band was taking a solid form, and the name Admonish was adobpted.
In our biography we have two parts. First the early "ancient history" who contains the creation of the band (1994) 
and ending with the brake around 2000.
Then the "modern historypart" who beginns in 2002, and contains the reunion, the todays members and also the very
first live concert.
You can read about everything in the biography section at www.admonish.org. Its very difficult to summarize it
without forget something.

TTUM:

Why the name Admonish? what does it means?

ADMONISH:

To sumarize it you can say that Admonish means "To embrace and plead for repentence" Its a very old word.

TTUM:

How many recorded albums you have? Which one do you prefer?

ADMONISH:

We have two ep´s recorded.
The first one "Den yttersta tiden" ("The final days") recorded 2004, released 2005.
And the second one "Insnärjd" (Entagled/Ensnared) recorded 2006, released 2007.
I dont know which i prefer most. The sound on "Insnärjd" is more developed
than the first one and thats always nice. But my favourite record has not been writen yet.

TTUM:

What's the message you want to bring with your lyrics and music?

ADMONISH:

Everyone have different parts in the band. Its came natural for someones to make the music, and other
to write the lyrics. Im one of three in the band who often makes the music. My goal with the music i to create
a cold, mystic, nordic and special feeling beside the tunes so the lyrics can find their right place.
Its important for us that the lyrics and music fits together. The lyrics are about feelings, thoughts and biblical
truths.

TTUM:

Can we expect more projects in the near future?

ADMONISH:

We have goals with the band. So you can definitly expect more stuff from us in the future.
The main thing for us now is to create and rehearsal the new material.

TTUM:

If you have the chance, Did you like to offer concerts in America?
 

ADMONISH:

Yes. We should enjoy a American tour in the future.
We would make a consert on the moon if it was possible.

TTUM:

Can you tell us if you and the other guys have another musical projects?

ADMONISH:

Admonish is the first priority for us. But i think we all have different music we like to listen on besides
blackmetal.
I make different music besides everything. But i cant call that "projects" because in my ears a serious project
involves a cd-release!
Music is a gift so i think the best way is to use it as much as you can. If you enjoys it and find time for it.

TTUM:
