Why the name of Hortor? What it means?

HORTOR:

We want to find an original  name and related with we do, Hortor means encourage and/or exhort in latin, and this is our goal encourage and exhort to the people who meet God, not forcing them to nothing  just sow the seed.

From what part of Mexico are?

HORTOR:

From the capitol city, Mexico D.F.

TTUM:

Can you describe us the musical genre that you play?

HORTOR:

Black metal in all its roots, from old school, until melodic and Viking.

TTUM:

Can you say if you have besides musical projects?, if so, What genre play in this projects?

HORTOR:

Beeroth: Black metal,

Herlighet: Gothic Death Folk,

Shama: Black metal.

TTUM:

What is the thematic of your lyrics? What you want to bring with them?

HORTOR:

There’s no specify thematic, our lyrics can be from antisatanic to something more reflexive, always being in high the name of God, never hide our message, our message always is clear.

TTUM:

How many productions have the band?

HORTOR:

One demo and in July will be available our new material.

TTUM:

What can we expect about this new material comino to be released?

HORTOR:

The next CD is more mature musically speaking, the previous demo like much, but was recorded so austere and unprofessional. This new material thanks to God it would be recorded in a professional way. The sound remains black metal, but more elaborated, we try to make a material maybe innovative because we like black metal and don’t want to experiment with other styles because sometimes the essence is lost. So we just did what we like, may wait a material full of pure black metal from melodic to old school.

TTUM:

What is the projection of the band to the future, evangelistic, only musical?,  speak about this.

HORTOR:

Always has been evangelistic not only musical, when God give us the band was for that, to preach to the people. We wait in God that in a future we can open a church when the people that become in our events can congregate.

TTUM:

Do you have plans to play out of Mexico?

HORTOR:

Thanks to God there have been many invitations to play out of Mexico, in November maybe have a tour in South America in countries like Ecuador, Peru, Bolivia, Colombia and Brazil.

TTUM:

Do you want to play some day in Central America and in special Guatemala?

HORTOR:

Yes, of course we want, in fact already being realized a concert that we have maybe in august in Guatemalan land. [Event done in your country with total success]
